Kshema's 7 Quick Takes Friday (Volume 13)

--- 1 --- Hello and sorry that I took an unexpected break last Friday. Though I wanted to write, I could not pull myself up to do so. Last two weeks have again been very very hectic, and to some extent eventful too, personally, professionally and officially. The thought of taking a break from all the activities has been constantly pestering my mind. Rains also lashed in the previous couple of weeks. --- 2 --- "Never let 'em see you sweat. Guests feel guilty if they think you've worked too hard to make dinner for them - which of course you have!" --  Ina Garten   It was a guest-ful weekend followed by a guest-full work week. :) It has been lovely to have my close ones in the weekend at home. Kshema's 7 Quick Takes Friday (Volume 9)

--- 1 --- Yet another plain vanilla week. At work, it is calm before we move on to starting of a new academic session at our institute. Sort of gearing up for the next session. Once the academic registration marks the beginning of the new session, we will be lost in the hustle bustle of new students, new courses, services etc. At home, it is gearing up for a visit of some close ones. Cleaning, rearranging, organizing etc. --- 2 --- Summer projects - with love from school to mom! This week, preceded by an eventful weekend, has also been the witness of the eventual culmination of the much awaited history project!! It all started in the vacations.  The CBSE has announced project based learning for the history students of classes XI and the XII . For us i.e., my daughter and me, it was a welcome news. We loved her projects always and she has a record of scoring full in all her projects. Here, the choice between the given two project topics - "Town planning...
